Open infrastructure, no gatekeeping

OpenAlex indexes hundreds of millions of scholarly works and the institutions behind them, released as open data. ROR (Research Organization Registry) assigns persistent identifiers to research organizations. Both are free to query and free to build on, which is why this page needs no account and no key.
