\section*{Summary of Duties}
During the internship I worked in the resin infusion team responsible for the
55 metre blade line. My assignments grew from supervised observation in the
first month to independently owned tasks in the final two months.

  \item Monitored resin infusion runs on 14 blade shells, logging flow front
        times, vacuum integrity, and cure oven profiles for each run.
  \item Built a spreadsheet model correlating ambient humidity with void
        content in test laminates, which the team now checks before each
        infusion release.
  \item Ran drop-weight impact tests on 60 laminate coupons in the materials
        lab and summarised the results for the quarterly quality review.
  \item Wrote a standard operating procedure for vacuum bag leak testing that
        cut average leak-hunt time from 45 to 20 minutes.
  \item Presented a mid-term and a final review to the production management
        team, including a cost estimate for a proposed infusion line sensor
        upgrade.

\section*{Learning Outcomes}
The internship connected coursework on polymer processing with the practical
constraints of a production floor. I learned to plan measurements around a
manufacturing schedule, to write procedures operators actually follow, and to
present engineering findings to a non-academic audience.
